Hi Kenneth, thanks for the great work. So what is the ‘transit’ network being shown here? Is it backhaul? Who owns/is building it – NBN or other private providers (e.g. Telstra, Nextgen etc.)? What is it connecting?

So is there any way to differentiate between NBN leased and NBN owned backhaul ?
And is it possible to get a ‘wholesale’ transit connection (i.e. 10G+ similar to the mobile cell option at points within the transit network)?
There’s no way to identify what backhaul component is leased or “NBN owned” so to speak. However, the majority of the leased network is Telstra dark fibre.
